Given Life Now on TUBI

If you’re feeling nostalgic for those 1980s made-for-television-movies, you can absorb a 113-minute fix for free on TUBI with Given Life, an independent I worked on. I serve mostly the last ten minutes of the film. These low-budget features generally keep the performances as they have little choice given the budgetary restrictions. So, whatever bizarre choices I made for this twisted character were retained in the final film.

Given Life was the last feature in 2019 that I worked on before the pandemic brought down the anvil. I was also working on stage in Alice Spivak’s final production. It’s interesting recalling Given Life’s locations on Greenpoint Ave. in Long Island City so immediately and knowing no one had yet ever heard of COVID.
