About Jason

Jason’s heritage runs deep in the Boston area where he was born and raised. He got his start as a teen, studying in the dingy black-box theaters of Boylston Street prior to the city’s gentrification.

Adept at portraying streetwise anti-heroes and often the most cunning presence in any room, Jason brings a distinct edge to his characters. He can pivot from dangerously intense to subtly sinister, yet convincing as the faithful husband. There are distinct shades of a throwback in his person; he traverses many time periods, pinned to no decade. Clifford Odets lines come through with present-day conviction.

Off-screen/stage, Jason possesses great mechanical ability. He has a long history in the automotive world. Jason is a highly proficient driver and has a deep passion for histories, biographies and sciences. As a writer, he spearheaded an Asian American story long before the market took off and is credited in Robert Whiting’s book: Gamblers, Fraudsters, Dreamers & Spies | The Outsiders Who Shaped Modern Japan.

Throughout the years, Jason continued process training with some of New York City’s highly respected acting teachers, including Terry Schreiber, Julie Garfield, and Alice Spivak.
